Using DXF file window

DXF File Window

This feature allow to Open AutoCad R14 DXF file format and extract points, lines, circles, arcs and polylines which are not part of objects.

To open DXF Window Use speed button or Tool -> DXF File menu. For help on DXF Window active window and press F1.

To Insert coordinates value of points from opened drawing

use appropriate snap modes (Available are :

S - Screen; M - Middle point of line; C - Center of Circle or Arc; N - Nearest point of any entity; E - End point of any entity)
On Bottom Status Bar of DXF Window are Shown Current cursor position and Locked positions. Locked positions will be transferred to Editor and inserted at Cursor position. Switching between windows and also typing to Editor when DXF window is active is allowed. (except characters used as shortcuts for DXF window features). If on top option is not active and window disappear after clicking on Editor press F9 to call back DXF window.
